She felt her heart beat harsh against her chest for a moment after Lux made her confession. Sure, they had been flirting and going on dates, but this was something far, far different. “I-” She hesitates, having to breathe to really stop her nerves. “I love you, too.” Her cheeks were flushed with a warm red blush riding across her face. A heavy feeling lifted from her chest with a smile and small laugh. Her hands gently hold Lux’s chin, touching their foreheads together. Her eyes close and body relaxed, wide smile still ever present on her face. “I love you, too.” She repeats for emphasis, really letting it all settle in.
